It's Monday again! How many times have I ever said that on my entries? Oh well. I need more opening salvo sentences. Guess that couldn't be helped if you're blogging for almost three years now! Wow! I never thought I'd be able to sustain that long a hobby. I am so happy that I am still running this site despite all the backlogs and un-inspired moments I had. These days, I must admit that I've been thinking of ways to make my blog better.. as a matter of fact, this past weekend, I've been very busy both for the sake of the blog and the telemagazine show at Sky Cable that I'm part of. My friends have put up a new business online and I'm so glad that they invited me to become an ambassador/model for their brand. I'm going to talk more about it soon! :))
For now, I have here a lovely set of photos, at least in my eyes, to share with you. My sister and I shot this at the amazing Woodland Resort located at Brgy Zambowood. Basically, it's so close to home that it makes it a go-to destination. This outfit was what I wore when we arrived at the resort. So basically I had this cool Yankees cap which added a little casual vibe to the look. And as usual, I'm a huge fan of flats, so I opted to wear this sea green sandals from Zalora.
I think that the mix of different textures on the pieces I wore made this look interesting to me. I had an assortment! As you see, I have denim, lace and chiffon. You can always get away with something like this if you're careful with the color scheme. So stick to the complementary colors when choosing to go with different textures/material.
The scenery at Woodland is indeed superb! I love the contrast of the background with my outfit. It makes it stand out. Well, thanks to the sunny weather we were able to achieve all this. Ahh, it makes me want to return! There are so many places in that resort where you can take absolutely beautiful pictures. =>
