Effective Accessories: Hats

Fashion is something that is constantly evolving and constantly changing. Looks come and go, and sometimes come again. There are looks that are considered timeless, classic styles that will always be in style. There are also cutting edge looks that have just begun to soar in the fashion world. But no matter the look, there is one constant when it comes to fashion. Accentuating pieces are key to successfully achieving the look.

Shoes are an important part of creating a look, and tying it together. Scarves and jewelry are good ways to accent and pull a look together. But one of the most effective ways to top off and complete a look is by wearing a hat. However, this can be a tricky look to achieve, if you're not all that familiar with hats. Luckily, there are a few tried and true looks that involve a hat to finish them off right.

The most well known look when it comes to wearing a hat is the country, or cowboy look. This look is a top to bottom look that is easy to accomplish. Form fitting jeans are the template to begin with when going for the country look. From there, flannel or button down shirts that are tucked in are the next step. Cowboy boots are a key part of the look as well. But the thing that ties it together is the cowboy hat. These hats come in a variety of colors and styles, and there are even cowboy hats that are considered formal cowboy hats.

Another very well known look that often involves a hat to make it complete is the classic business look. This look is focused on a nice suit, usually a three piece suit or a double breasted suit. A silk tie can help to bring it all together, but the piece that makes this a classic marvel instead of just another modern suit is the fedora. A fedora is a slim hat that is often worn jauntily tipped to the side. These hats were worn by men quite a bit during the 1950s, and it is an easy way to recall some of that style and grace from that era.

No matter what kind of hat you choose, you will want to buy it from a reputable dealer, like Killer Hats. That way you can be sure that your hat is well made and will last you a long time.
