REVIEW: Blush Crush in Peach Sorbet

Friday, August 24, 2012
Don't you just hate it when you run out of your favorite blush-on? I do! It's part of my daily make-up routine just so I don't look dull or colorless like I'm anemic or something. So I was particularly happy when Krave Minerale sent me this lovely little thing they call "Blush Crush" Loose Mineral Blush in Peach Sorbet.

Pink Krave Minerale Blush On

Krave Minerale Cosmeceuticals is a Philippine company & brand of mineral make up & organic skin care products that are all formulated & manufactured in the USA by a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliant facility. Products are imported from the US and legally distributed in the Philippines with all the necessary regulatory requirements from the United States of America and from the companies that formulates & manufactures the whole product line. The ingredients in all our products have been assessed, approved and certified in compliance with the EU Cosmetic Safety Regulations and US-FDA (The United States- Food and Drugs Administration).[1]

Their products are beneficial for both men and women and are chemical free, offering SPF of 15 - 50 and soothes your skin with a variety of healing botanicalBasically, their products are very much skin-friendly and yes it's possible to feed your skin's cravings with Krave at very minimal costs. I am going to give you guys the rundown of the blush-on I am using for several weeks now. Peach Sorbet gives you a really true peach color with a hint of pink to it.

I certainly love the color pay-off of this product - you'll only need a little amount of it to achieve your desired effect which for me would be the natural looking effect - you wouldn't want to pass off as a clown right? It also goes to mean that this blush-on is very much pigmented with a slight hint of shimmer or gold iridescence to it.  It is also very easy to blend and stays on for a good number of hours without the need for touch-ups.

Remember when I said that I've been using it for weeks now? Well, I have not experienced any breakouts upon usage of the product - with other products, breakouts can get really ugly. So it's a plus point for this baby! Here are the list of ingredients found in the product: Zinc oxide which is anti-inflammatory, Kosher rice powder that soothes & cools the skin and lastly Silica which controls excess facial oil without drying the surface of the skin. And after reading that, I would have to agree that it controls excess oil. :> It's also very small so it's very easy to pop it inside my kikay kit! :D

Now, the only problem I had with this is their packaging. Since it's in a loose powder form, it's really difficult not to waste some product. When I close the cover of the blusher, some of the powder goes to waste by forming a cloud of dust. It's not convenient - it would be okay if it was in a cake form. So far that's the only thing I don't like about the product.

One small tub contains 2.5 grams of product and will cost you PHP230.00 only. It's already very affordable compared to other blushers plus this baby will last you a long time! You can also choose between Peach Sorbet and Pink Muffin. Visit them to try other products that are sumptuously skin-friendly!

  1. If it has Zinc Oxide, the product definitely has sun protection.

  3. I'd love to try this! :) I just hit pan on my ELF blush and bronzer duo, just the blush side though, so I'm really in the market to try out new blushes.. ^^ However, I think the peach sorbet isn't peachy enough for me. I'll still check out Krave Minerals though.. :)

  13. To avoid wastage, puncture only 2 or 3 holes from the sifter. You need not remove the whole tape/sticker from the sifter. That's what I did. =)
