REVIEW: Ben Nye's Cover All Wheel SK-1

Thursday, July 19, 2012
I feel snappy today. I woke up wanting to just finish all unfinished works/projects I have. I've been thinking and meditating a lot lately, fighting inside my mind about some things that I need to change within myself. I just have this really strong dedication now. And I hope I sustain it. Anyway, the real deal for today is that I have another review for all of you!

You must be tired of looking for the perfect solution to cover your facial imperfections. Everyone wants to look flawlessly beautiful in photos right? And more so in personal. One of the things that can totally help us in achieving that is a perfect concealer.  I go gaga over concealers. As much as blushers are part of my daily makeup routine, concealers are my list toppers. I'd go for cream concealers though - less of liquid. And I only apply it under my eyes to cover those awful remnants of a sleepless night. I've tried a variety of concealers, settling for one brand in a course of a month or two and then I would switch  to another brand.

However, this must end and indeed it has- with Ben Nye's Cover All Wheel in SK-1 which I got from The Style Quarter! :> I consider this as a miracle, really. If you never heard of Ben Nye, well, Here is how it looks like:
Four creamy and yummy shades all aimed at covering those skin imperfections! Four classic neutralizing shades are included in this best-selling Wheel. Mutes redness, veins, tattoos, beard shadows and skin discolorations. Here are some swatches which you might find useful:

Shades: MY-2, MO-2, CC-3, FS-3

For PHP690.00, you get 0.5oz/14gm of product and you can expect 40-150 applications. (I think it might be more for me). I understand, it could get quite pricey for some but for me, this is a very reasonable price for an amazing product!

The packaging for the product is well thought-off, it's small and compact with a plastic transparent cover which makes it easy for you to bring anywhere and indeed I bring it anywhere with me :> Once you apply the creamy concealer, it glides and blends easily - you can mix two shades to get your preferred shade. It's also very long-lasting - I wear it before going to work and wash it off at night without having to retouch during the day. Honestly, you'll get tired of me saying all the good things because I just love and adore it soooo much! I just apply loose powder to set it and I'm ready to go. I've been using it for months now, and I don't get acne/pimples because of it so I guess it's also one of the things that makes me stick to it. All in all I would give it a perfect score of 5/5! Yahoooo :3

  2. This is a very important product for women who wants to hide blemishes or dark spots on their face. The packaging is great too and worth every penny spent on it.

  6. Ben Nye products really offer good coverage and have good color payoff because it gained popularity as stage makeup. So, everything needs to be a bit full on :) I like the many choices in that wheel and it's really worth it na. My HG concealer is the MAC Studio finish. It's a tad pricier than Ben Nye but it does such a good job :)

  7. I've heard great things about Ben Nye, as well as this specific product.. :) I might give this a shot since I'm in need of concealing and color correcting on some parts, but I feel like this is more useful for makeup artists.. ^^

  10. I'm not used to using concealers cause they make my under eye so white in photos (or because i do not know how to use them) i think this one could solve my problem. :) so many shades to choose and blend :D
