REVIEW: Cutey Bracelets

Friday, May 04, 2012
Like what I mentioned in my blog interview with Prei of WalkThatStyle, one of my fashionista-must-haves are accessories! I buy them whenever I can because they can make a drab outfit, fab! :> That's the sort of magic accessories have and is mainly the reason why they are created after all.

Going to the post office will become like a regular thing for me from now on. And last week during one of my trips to the post office, I claimed lovely accessories from Cutey! :> Please read further for my review of their shop and their cutesy bracelets.

Cutey was founded in 2011 to provide a quality range of customisable jewellery. Their initial range is designed as an everyday accessory that can be used at any time. The range is designed with the ability to be easily changed, allowing the jewellery to be changed based on mood, time or outfit.

And now here are the lovely bracelets from Cutey! Thanks Miss Ashley :>

A closer look, a quick overview and my thoughts on each bracelet:

Eros Bracelet - Quick Overview

The God of Love and all that means – pinks and greens, hearts and kisses, this piece celebrates love. If you’re a man, your woman will love it. If you’re getting married, this will remind your special girls of your day. Romantic, unashamedly female and full of unmistakable romance.

My Thoughts on Eros
>I must say, I am definitely a lover of pink and so I definitely dig this one. The trinkets are very nice specially the ones with the heart shapes on it. I just dont think green goes perfectly with pink but I guess Eros is quite a unique design and can be paired with outfits that are fun and bright. The only problem I encountered for this particular piece is that it isnt securely clasped. With too much movements, the bracelet falls off. Maybe it's just this one piece because all the others work perfectly well.

Oizys Bracelet - Quick Overview

This rich and unusual bracelet is full of remembrance, memory and wisdom. Perhaps this will help to mark an occasion, a lesson learned, a salutary experience, a person, in a way which brings joy and beauty to its owner.

My Thoughts on Oizys
>Ever noticed how I always have black or dark colored accessories in my outfit photos? Because it's the perfect excuse when you're running out of ideas in mixing and matching accessories with outfits. It's a go-to color. The same goes with Oizys. I could definitely use it everyday. The design is pretty simple too.

Typhon Bracelet - Quick Overview

Unpredictable, quirky and wonderful, Typhon has the brightest of colours and embraces the unexpected. Perfect for you if you’re growing, searching and discovering. There are no limits...

My Thoughts on Typhon
>Now this is one really quirky bracelet! I simply love the vibrancy and fun that this piece exudes. It makes me feel lively wearing this with some bright summer outfits. Although I'd be careful to pair it with other accessories such as gold and bronze considering that this has a silver chain.

Shipping&Packaging - 4/5
>Shipping took approximately two (2) weeks and like I said, I claimed them at the post office. It is securely packed though but each piece was only wrapped in plastics. I guess Cutey's business card and tags are its saving graces because they look sleek and very professional :>

Quality of the Bracelets - 4.5/5
>Indeed what Cutey has been saying about their bracelets is true. Each piece is heavy and makes you feel that there is indeed something hanging on to your wrists. Each bead or trinket has this weight and sturdy feel and wont easily break. The silver chain also looks very elegant and feels very much solid, no worries about it breaking or scattering your lovely beads all over the place. The clasp is also very unique, it isn't the usual and the name Cutey is embedded on it! :>

Overall - 4.5/5
>I would definitely buy accessories like these in different designs because they're one of a kind. Plus they're of good quality so no worries about not getting your money's worth :>
All bracelets are priced at £12.99.
