Review Part II: Human♥Nature's Hydrating Mineral Lipstick

Saturday, March 31, 2012

Hurray Saturday! :)

I will be well-rested this weekend because I have no scheduled shooting for VezTV! :) I've realized now that the greatest luxury I can ever have is the luxury of TIME. So I will enjoy this free time to the fullest! :)

Yesterday, I promised to post the part II of my Human Heart Nature Review and this time about their lippies. So now, on to the review!

Human Heart Nature Stash, Beauty Oil and Lipstick
Just to show you my buys from HHN :)

Another product I bought from my HHN Store Visit was their Hydrating Mineral Lipstick in the Lucky In Love Shade. One fact about me is that I totally love red lippies – all shades of red. J I just think that it’s bold and daring and looks really good on me.

Mineral Hydrating Lipstick

Price: Php 175.00 (Around $4) for 4.4g (0.15oz) of lip product. NOTE: Instead of Php225.00, they’re offering these for a special promo this month hence the lowered price.

Hydrating Mineral Lipstick Shades

What the company says about the product:
Experience lip color so rich in moisture that your lips flourish and blossom in healthy beauty! 100% natural and completely free from synthetic chemicals, our lipstick fuses the moisture power from passion fruit seed oil, sunflower oil, cocoa butter and beeswax to deliver silky, softening, smoothening color to your lips. So you get lips so beautiful, they can only be natural!

Available in 6 Shades:

A. Coral Kiss (Peaches/Corals)
B. Sweet Nectar (Neutrals)
C. Earth Angel (Browns)
D. Lucky In Love
E. First Kiss

F. Pink Skies

PACKAGING:
Their lippies come in small boxes with a really cute design which is simple and embodies their being environmentally-friendly. On the box, you can see their All Natural Seal, the Cruelty-free seal and the ingredients used for the product. What I noticed though was that it’s much smaller compared to the usual size of lippie containers but all the more reasons to love it for you can easily toss it into our kikay kit!

Hydrating Mineral Lipstick Lucky in Love

ACTUAL PRODUCT:
When you look at the lip product, it looks dry but when you begin to apply it, it glides smoothly on the lips. However, to really achieve its color you’ll have to apply at least two coats of the product. On the first coat, it appears much lighter than the color it suggests.

Lucky In Love Lipstick from Human Heart Nature

The one you see in this photo is the by-product of at least 4 coats with an aid of a lip brush so it looks really dark. My make-up artist didn’t apply any gloss for this but it looks really glossy.

One thing I also like about it is that it lasts long on my lips.  I had it on for at least 8 hours! It was amazing really cause after the shooting I went to the office to work on some reports and it stayed put so hurray for that! However, the scent it gives off is rather not my type, it might come off as okay for others but not for me.

Let's SWATCH this! :p
That is all for today dollies! I'm off to start another fun weekend with family and friends! Hope you have a wonderful weekend as well. What are you're plans? Whatever that is, never forget to pray :)

    1. Hi there! :) Thank you very much for dropping by my blog :) As for your question, the lippie's smell is somewhat waxy, the kind of smell that wax gives off mixed with mild floral scent - I don't like the combination. But it's not that strong anyway and nothing to worry about. I just got used to yummy smelling lippies (butterry smell). :))
